Job Description

Imagine a future where everyone has instant, low-cost access to intelligence. At Verda, we're building a fully featured European AI cloud a platform for builders, researchers, and enterprises to train, experiment with, and deploy AI models at scale. Our GPUs run on 100% renewable energy, powering a more sustainable AI ecosystem.

We're ambitious, curious, and gutsy doers. Low hierarchy, high ownership, and a big vision. We've grown fast - and after raising $64M Series A, we're only getting started. This is an opportunity to join early and help shape how developers engage with the next generation of AI infrastructure.

How the process looks like
  • Intro call (45 minutes): Meet with TA and explore role alignment
  • Technical interview (60 minutes)
  • Interview with Hiring manager ( minutes)
  • Final interview (60 minutes): Meet with our CEO, CTO, and members of the team
About the role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Verda, you'll work directly with enterprise customers in the UK and Ireland as a hands on technical partner, embedding closely with their teams to deploy, run, and scale AI workloads on our cloud platform. You'll operate at the front line of customer engagement, tackling complex infrastructure and AI challenges in real production environments.

You'll support onboarding, deployments, and ongoing optimization, working side by side with customer engineers to ensure critical workloads run reliably and efficiently. When issues arise, you'll dive deep-troubleshooting production problems in close collaboration with Verda's platform, support, and engineering teams.

This role sits at the intersection of customer, product, and engineering. You'll translate customer requirements and real world constraints into actionable insights for internal teams, directly influencing how Verda's AI cloud evolves. It's a highly hands on role for engineers who enjoy forward deployed work, close customer collaboration, and making an immediate impact in a fast growing AI infrastructure company.

Why Verda
  • Competitive cash and equity package, plus benefits (healthcare, lunch, wellbeing, etc.)
  • Profitable operations with rapid, sustained growth
  • A role with clear impact, where your work directly drives our growth through developer advocacy
  • A genuine once in a lifetime opportunity to join one of Finland's few true explosive growth stories, shaping a category defining AI cloud from the ground up
  • Work alongside world class engineers, researchers, and partners across the global AI ecosystem
  • A small, high performing team of around 70 people representing 27 nationalities
  • A community driven atmosphere - including the occasional BBQ hosted by Ruben (CEO by day, master chef by night)
  • Flexible hours with hybrid or remote work across Europe
