Formulation scientist

Position Summary

Our client is a global life sciences organisation supporting the development and manufacture of diagnostic and laboratory products used worldwide. They are seeking a Laboratory Production Technician to join their team in East Grinstead, West Sussex. The successful candidate will support laboratory manufacturing operations, ensuring products are produced to the highest quality standards while adhering to GMP, GLP, and Health & Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense laboratory solutions in line with approved procedures and production schedules.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain laboratory production equipment to support manufacturing activities.
• Perform routine equipment checks, stock monitoring, and laboratory housekeeping tasks.
• Accurately record production data and support compliance with GMP, GLP, and Health & Safety standards.

Profile

• Scientific qualification (A-level or equivalent) preferred.
• Previous laboratory or manufacturing experience is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures accurately.
• Good organisational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable using computer systems and working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
