Job Description
General
  • Conduct daily checks and complete associated compliance documentation.
  • Perform forklift duties as per operational requirements.
  • Visually inspect all cargo prior to lifting in compliance with procedure, with particular emphasis on snagging hazards or loose objects, and capture all non compliant cargo, reporting back to the relevant responsible person.
  • Safely load/offload cargo to/from vehicles.
  • Ensure the correct use of forklifts and lifting equipment as set out in legislative and procedural policy; if authorised to carry out lifting activities, ensure that they are carried out in accordance with the Company's Group Operating Procedures and Global Lifting Procedures.
  • Ensure that formal procedures, standing instructions and safety standards are complied with at all times.
  • Must be available to work at other locations; this includes other client locations as required.
  • Must be flexible regarding working additional hours as required due to operational requirements.
