Forklift Operator - Receiving and Shipping

Responsibilities Receiving

• Coordinate incoming shipments with the purchasing department
• Collect and validate carrier documentation
• Verify that received goods match purchase orders
• Perform visual inspections of products
• Move goods to the appropriate locations (physically and in the system)
• Maintain good relationships with carriers and dealers

Shipping

• Load trucks according to established procedures
• Prepare orders based on priorities and ensure accuracy
• Produce bills of lading
• Handle equipment in the yard
• Collaborate with other departments as needed

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience
• Strong ability to manage priorities
• Autonomous and resourceful
• Ability to work under pressure
• Capable of handling parts of various sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs)
• Proficiency in English to effectively collaborate with carriers (an asset)
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions
• Strong attendance and reliability
