Forklift Op / Labourer

Location: Tipton

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Operator / Labourer to join a busy warehouse and yard operation in Tipton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied, hands-on role and is happy to combine forklift driving with general labouring duties in a fast-paced working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to safely move stock and materials around the site
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Coiling and handling copper cables
• Assisting with the storage, movement and preparation of materials
• Carrying out general labouring duties as required
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Supporting the warehouse team to meet daily production and dispatch targets

What We're Looking For

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
• Flexi/Bendi Forklift experience is advantageous but not essential
• Forklift refresher training can be provided for the right candidate
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing or yard experience
• Comfortable carrying out manual handling and labouring duties throughout the day
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a busy environment
