Forklift Driver Warehouse General Operative

Summary: We are seeking an experienced forklift operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts and be knowledgeable in material handling practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for moving and stacking materials, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring that all materials are handled safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials
• Ensure that all materials are handled safely and efficiently, and follow established material handling procedures
• Complete required paperwork, such as load tags, delivery receipts, and inspection forms
• Assist with other tasks as needed, such as inventory management and general warehouse duties

Requirements

• Leaving Cert or equivalent
• Valid forklift operator certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
• Ability to lift up to 30 KG and stand for extended periods of time
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
