Forklift Driver

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to work for a well established manufacturing business based in Leicestershire

This is expected to be a temp to perm position

They are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to work in their Finished Goods team

You will be responsible for working in a team to manage the goods storage in the warehouse and to prepare the loading area to fulfil production demands

You will have a number of other tasks and responsibilities to adhere to

Which can include:

• Moving pallets around the facility
• Preparing loading areas in line with loading schedule documentation
• Identify and report any damages or quantity issues
• Loading trucks if needed
• Operating a forklift and other MHE equipment once trained after being signed off to do so
• Stock taking when required
• Keep on top of housekeeping

• There are 1 shifts available -
• Afternoons
• Salary £13ph

• Proven experience in a warehouse or manufacturing role
• Previous experience driving a counterbalance forklift and National licence
• Happy to work on either a morning shift or afternoon shift
• Access to own transport due to lack of public transport at certain shift times
