Fork Lift Truck Reach and Counterbalance driver/general operative

Meridian Business Support are recruiting for a Goods In/FLTCounterbalance and Reach Operative for their prestigious client based in Stafford.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate looking to start as soon as possible.

Working Hours/Rate of pay:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

£14.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• The role involves receiving deliveries, checking stock, and safely operating a reach forklift truck within a food manufacturing environment.
• Operating a Reach FLT to move and store stock safely
• Booking goods into the system using internal IT systems
• Maintaining accurate stock records and documentation
• Ensuring all goods meet quality and food safety standards
• Keeping the goods-in area clean and organised

Requirements:

• Valid FLT Reach and Counterbalance licence specific requirements are Counterbalance we need:
  • B1 Counterbalance up to 5T
  • Lifting capacity: 3000kg
  • Lift Height: at least 4 meters
  • Power: Electric/Gas
• For Reach truck we need:
  • D1 Reach Truck up to 8MT
  • Lifting capacity: 1500kg
  • Lift Height: at least 6 meter
  • Power: Electric/Gas
• Basic computer/IT skills for stock systems and documentation
• Numeracy and maths skills
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing or food production environment preferred
• Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
