Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 30th Apr 2026
Rate: £523 per day inside IR35
Location: Edinburgh/Bristol (03 days onsite)
Job Summary

As a PingID & ForgeRock Onboarding and Verification Specialist at Finance, you will play a critical role in securing digital identities and access across global financial platforms. You will manage the onboarding and verification of users using PingID for multi-factor authentication and ForgeRock for identity governance, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal security policies.

Key Responsibilities
User Onboarding & Identity Verification
- Facilitate onboarding of employees, contractors, and third-party users across Finance's global operations.
- Verify user identities in alignment with Know Your Employee (KYE) and compliance standards.
- Ensure secure MFA enrollment and device registration using PingID.

Access Management & Governance
- Configure and maintain role-based access controls (RBAC) and life cycle policies in ForgeRock.
- Support access reviews, certifications, and entitlement audits.
- Integrate ForgeRock with financial systems and internal platforms.

Security & Compliance
- Ensure IAM processes align with regulatory frameworks (eg, SOX, GDPR, PSD2).
- Monitor authentication logs and respond to anomalies or access violations.
- Assist in internal and external audits related to IAM.

Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for PingID and ForgeRock-related issues.
- Troubleshoot MFA failures, access provisioning errors, and identity sync issues.
- Collaborate with IAM engineering and vendor support for escalations.

Documentation & Training
- Develop onboarding guides, compliance checklists, and training materials.
- Conduct training sessions for new hires and support teams.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to the IAM knowledge base.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with PingID and ForgeRock in a financial or enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of IAM principles, MFA, SSO, and identity federation.
- Familiarity with authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect).
- Knowledge of financial compliance frameworks and audit practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in Ping Identity and/or ForgeRock technologies.
- Experience with IAM integrations in financial systems and cloud platforms (eg, Azure AD, AWS).
- Knowledge of Scripting (eg, PowerShell, Python) and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with identity life cycle automation and governance tools.
- Time to onboard and verify users.
- Number of access-related incidents resolved within SLA.
- Compliance audit success rate.
- Accuracy of access provisioning and de-provisioning.
- User satisfaction scores from onboarding and support interactions.
