JOB TITLE: Forge Operative - Die Plant

LOCATION: Halesowen

HOURS: 39 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday 06.00-16.00pm and Thursday 06.00-15.00pm

PAY: £33,397 to £37897, plus overtime

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Report to Forges Team Leaders or Die Plant Manager with any issues with product, health and safety or machine breakdowns etc.
• Adhere to and encourage health and safety methods and procedures
• Inspection for all components throughout the process
• Support in continuous improvement
• Make sure all forging areas are tidy and organised
• To work as efficiently as possible
• Forklift truck driving
• Drive Crane & Fork Truck
• Hardness testing
• Cleaning, tidying and improving the state of the department
• Lorry loading / unloading
• Operate machinery around forging presses
• Sign off route card operations such as hardness testing

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Overhead crane license
• Previous Forge experience
• Forklift license, Ideally
