Overview

Forest School SEN Teaching Assistant - Location: Rochdale - Position: Full-Time (Term-Time) - Pay: £100 - £120 per day (dependent on experience)

Responsibilities

• Provide support to students with various SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
• Assist with Forest School and outdoor learning sessions.
• Offer 1:1 and small group support for students.
• Help with emotional regulation, engagement, and behaviour management.
• Collaborate closely with teaching staff and other professionals to meet individual needs.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN.
• Interest or experience in Forest School or outdoor education.
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach to working with children.
• Forest School qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply).
