Salary - €75K - €85K + Package
About the CompanyOur client is one of Ireland's leading building contractors with an excellent reputation for delivering high-profile residential, commercial, healthcare, education, and mixed-use developments throughout Ireland.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work in the Munster region, they are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to join their team on a major reinforced concrete frame project in Cork.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering large-scale developments while offering long-term career progression and job security.
The Role- Oversee all day-to-day concrete operations on a major RC Frame project.
- Supervise reinforced concrete works including foundations, columns, walls, cores, slabs, and associated structures.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and direct labour to ensure programme targets are achieved.
- Ensure all works are completed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with project specifications.
- Drive site productivity and maintain efficient sequencing of works.
- Enforce Health & Safety standards and ensure compliance with company procedures and statutory requirements.
- Liaise with Site Management, Engineers, Design Teams, and Client Representatives to resolve technical issues.
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
- Maintain accurate site records, inspections, permits, and daily reports.
- Ensure project milestones are achieved safely, on time, and within budget.
- Extensive experience working as a Concrete Foreman on large-scale construction projects.
- Strong background in RC Frame construction, ideally on structures of 5+ storeys.
- Proven ability to manage large workforces, subcontractors, and multiple trades.
- Excellent understanding of concrete sequencing, productivity, and quality control.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Excellent communication and problem solving abilities.
