Job Description
Foreman - Civil Infrastructure 
A Foreman is required for a well-established contractor delivering civil infrastructure projects across Clare and Limerick. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Foreman to join a growing team and support the successful delivery of a range of civil engineering projects.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil infrastructure and will be responsible for supervising site operations, coordinating crews, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Duties- Supervise day-to-day site operations on civil infrastructure projects across Clare and Limerick.
- Coordinate site crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Work closely with the Project Manager and Site Engineers to maintain project progress.
- Monitor productivity and ensure work is completed to the required quality standards.
- Enforce health and safety regulations and ensure all site activities comply with company policies.
- Conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks with site staff.
- Assist with scheduling, material deliveries, and resource planning.
- Maintain accurate site records and report progress to the Project Manager.
- Liaise with engineers, consultants, and local authorities when required.
- 5+ years' experience in a Foreman or Supervisory role within civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience in civil infrastructure projects such as roads, drainage, utilities, or public works.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage site teams effectively.
- Good knowledge of health and safety regulations within the Irish construction industry.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and project specifications.
- Eligible to work in Ireland.
- Full driving licence.
- Salary circa €60k-€70k depending on experience.
