Food Technology Teacher, Croydon, Full Time, September 2026 Start. Outer London pay scale Outer London MPS1-UPS3. Are you a passionate and creative Food Technology Teacher looking for your next challenge in a supportive and ambitious secondary school? We are seeking an enthusiastic educator to join a successful Design & Technology department from September 2026 on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to teach Food Technology in a well-established school that values high-quality teaching, staff development, and positive student outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Full-time Food Technology Teacher with a September 2026 start.
  • Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to contribute further depending on experience.
  • Deliver engaging, practical, and inspiring lessons.
  • Join a collaborative and supportive Design & Technology faculty.
Salary and Benefits

Salary Outer London MPS1 - UPS3 (£39,090 - £60,092 per annum). The salary offered will be dependent upon the successful candidate's experience, qualifications, and current level of teaching practice.

Person Specification / Requirements
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an overseas teaching qualification recognised as equivalent through UK NARIC
  • Ability to teach Food Technology to a high standard
  • Commitment to delivering engaging and challenging lessons
  • Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
  • Dedication to raising achievement and supporting student progress
  • Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school
