• Teaching Food Technology to small groups of students who may have faced barriers to learning
• Planning and delivering practical, engaging lessons using high-quality catering facilities
• Creating a safe, structured and encouraging environment within the kitchen classroom
• Supporting students to develop essential life skills, teamwork and confidence
• Working closely with pastoral staff to ensure students feel supported emotionally and academically
• Managing behaviour positively and consistently to promote a calm learning atmosphere
• Adapting teaching approaches to meet a range of needs and abilities
