Food Production Operative

THE ROLE

We are currently supporting with the recruiting for a number of production operatives to join our client located in the Wrexham area to help support with their growing business. You will be packing products off a number of high-speed machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment as well as ensuring regular visual quality checks are undertaken.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following :

• Slicing and sorting products
• Checking of product prior to packaging
• Palletising and packing
• To keep the Shift Supervisor informed of any problems encountered with Production processes and/or equipment
• To pack product in line with Company standards including BRC Global Standards for packaging
• To ensure all product is labeled correctly

Requirements from candidate:

• Eye for detail
• Comfortable working within a food based environment
• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is preferable, ideally within a faced paced environment in a Packing capacity
• Strong communication
• Dependable and have a reliable mode of transport to commute to work
• Able to operate in a sometimes-pressurised environment working to deadlines
• Teamwork

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this role with involve working a 6am till 2pm or 2pm till 10pm Monday to Friday

Hourly Rate of up to £12.30Per Hour
