Prospero Teaching is working alongside a supportive high school that is looking for a Food/Hospitality Teacher for Term 1, January 2027.
The school offers an enjoyable working environment with a strong and supportive leadership and teaching team in place.
This is a full-time, permanent role.
The school are happy to consider teachers of all experience levels.
- Food/Hospitality Teacher
- Teaching across Grades 8-12
- Permanent, Full-time position
- Interviews will take place as soon as possible
- Bachelor or Master of Education, or Post-Graduate Diploma in Education
- Be eligible to work and teach in New Zealand
- Received or in the process of applying for a NZQA (New Zealand Qualification Authority)
- Receivedor in the process of registeringfor EC15 (Education Council)
- Be willing to process a new Certified Criminal Record Check
- Be able to offer two professional teaching references covering the last two years
- Have high expectations and commitment to best practice
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be creative and innovative
- Have drive and tenacity
- Be a strong team player
- Be organized, with good time management
