Food & Beverage Team Leader 25,838 pa

The National Trust is renowned for its food and hospitality. We run 185 cafes all over England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and we'd love you to join us.

We're looking for a Food and Beverage Team Leader to join us.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Days off will vary each week, with shifts allocated on a rota planned 2-3 weeks in advance. Weekend and bank holiday working will be required as part of the role. Standard working hours are 10:00am-6:00pm, although these may vary depending on seasonal demand. During quieter winter months, shifts may run from 9:00am-5:00pm or 9:30am-5:30pm. In peak summer periods, hours typically change to 10:30am-6:30pm.

Salary: £25,837.5 per annum

Duration: Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Give day to day support to your team, ensuring consistently great service to everyone who comes to the café.
• Focus on front of house duties, dealing directly with people and serving them food and drink, while maintaining a positive 'can do' attitude.
• Use your eye for detail to keep displays, signs and food presentation accurate; assist the kitchen team with food preparation when needed.
• Supervise the induction and training of colleagues, building a dedicated team that delivers an outstanding experience.
