Using pallet trucks and safe manual handling with heavy goods, your commitment to order and safety will keep our customers and co workers happy.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Start Date for this role will be 30th August 2026.
• Hourly rate of £14.15.
• Part time: 30 hours per week working 5 days out of 7, including evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends.

Most shifts for this role will start at 7am. Please be aware that links to the store by public transport may be infrequent. If you will be using public transport to get to the store we ask you to consider your transport route before you apply.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

• Enjoy working in an environment that is varied where you will need to switch tasks and manage a number of priorities.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• The role will involve receiving, checking and storing all food deliveries.
• Maintaining all food storage areas, ensuring they are clean, tidy and stock is rotated by date.
• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co workers.
• Support your colleagues, pitch in and develop a positive work environment.
• Movement of stock to and from location with the use of a powered pallet truck, medical check and training will be provided.
• Working in cold environments such as outside and freezers.
• Manual handing of heavy stock to various storage locations.
• You assist other members of your team whenever you can contributing to a collaborative work environment.
