The F&B Associate is responsible for the efficient and professional service of food and beverages, while ensuring guests receive optimum service in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of the hotel and Hilton.
Responsibilities- Maintain high customer service focus by approaching the job with the customers always in mind.
- Take personal responsibility and initiative to resolve issues, clearly communicating with both customers and colleagues.
- Contribute ideas to enhance operational and environmental procedures in the hotel.
- Actively promote the services and facilities of Hilton hotels to guests and suppliers.
- Perform duties in a manner that ensures safety for yourself and others.
- Confidently know the food and beverage menu contents and explain them in detail to guests.
- Understand dietary requirements and offer appropriate suggestions.
- Complete checklists on product knowledge.
- Suggest menu options that may suit guests of different nationalities.
- Familiarize with menu items of other outlets to recommend guests to other outlets.
- Know opening hours of all restaurants and hotel outlets.
- Recommend other restaurants and city attractions to hotel guests.
- Prepare the restaurant for service and complete related checklists.
- Greet guests with a smile, assist with coats and bags, and introduce yourself.
- Ask guests for smoking or non-smoking preferences and escort to their table.
- Follow up on guest questions; consult the Manager if answers are not available.
- Ensure that all service procedures are carried out to the required standards.
- Keep all areas cleaned and maintained according to operating procedures.
- Take personal responsibility for the service experience of all guests in your designated area.
- Smile and greet guests entering and exiting the restaurant, even if not in your section.
- Provide high-priority guest service and avoid offensive language.
- Report any accidents or incidents to the Supervisor/Assistant Manager/Manager.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned.

- Senior High School education or specialty in Hospitality.
- 1-2 years in a managerial position in a 5-star category hotel.
- Good command of English to meet business needs.
- Motivated and committed, with enthusiasm and willingness to learn and improve performance.
- Flexible and responsive to changing requirements and tasks.
- Strong team focus and cooperation with colleagues.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages.
- Able to remember, recite and promote the menu items.
- Open-minded with an outgoing personality.
- Willing to work long hours with a positive attitude.
