Historic England have a fantastic opportunity for you to join us as our FM (Facilities Management) Team Manager.

This is a Full Time, Fixed Term Contract for 6 months, based onsite at one of our locations.

You will be based in one of our following offices - Newcastle, York, Manchester, Birmingham, Swindon, Bristol, Portsmouth (Fort Cumberland), and Cambridge.

What you will be doing

As our FM Team Manager, you will contribute to the provision of a consistent Facilities Management service across all offices by coordinating the team in delivering compliant, accessible, comfortable and attractive workplaces showing initiative and taking ownership of actions without being asked.

You will gather, actively monitor and report on site data to establish performance against team objectives.You will provide administrative support to the Facilities Management Director and National Facilities Manager including meeting support, diary management, support reviewing and processing expenses, resource and department planning.

This role will actively involve leading in practical, hands-on facilities tasks, contributing directly to the upkeep and smooth running of the office environment.

Who we are looking for

Demonstrable administrative experience in a Facilities role or similar field

Experience or qualification in Facilities management

Experience or qualification in Health & safety

Strong IT skills, particularly with MS Office

The ability to influence others
