Floor Manager - New Private Members Club

The Arding Rooms is our newest private members club, located within the beautifully restored Arding & Hobbs building in the heart of Clapham Junction. A thoughtful blend of Art Deco eccentricity with a modern, creative spirit - we have created a space where high-end hospitality meets community, comfort, and style.

The bit about the role:

As Floor Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full front-of-house operation, ensuring each member and their guests consistently experience a phenomenal level of service.

You will support the General Manager with revenue growth and sales strategies, monitor stock levels, assist with wastage and cost controls, and ensure the overall club is well maintained.

This role requires a hands-on leader with extensive operational knowledge, the ability to manage, train, and motivate team members, and ultimately to create a positive and enjoyable working environment.

Troubleshooting is your forte - you are solution-oriented and demonstrate composure and kindness, even on the busiest days!

Our members are at the heart of everything we do - we want them to feel welcomed and special so they can relax and enjoy every minute with us. As Floor Manager, you will play an integral role in ensuring this and actively contribute to The Arding Rooms' success.

Experience in a similar role within a premium restaurant or private members club with a fun, social atmosphere is preferred. The club is open 7 days a week from 8 am to late.
