Job Title: Floor Coverer

What You'll Do

As a Floor Coverer within our Operations team, you'll play a key role in the manufacture of buses by fitting floor coverings and associated components to vehicle body structures. Working from engineering drawings and work instructions, you'll ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality and build time standards.

You'll work both independently and alongside colleagues, taking pride in maintaining a safe, tidy work environment while contributing to the overall success of our production operations.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a skilled and reliable individual with experience in floor covering or a related trade, ideally gained within a manufacturing or workshop environment. You'll be comfortable reading technical information, selecting the right tools and materials for the job, and working to defined quality and safety standards.

You'll also bring a strong sense of responsibility, an ability to use your own initiative, and a positive team focused approach that reflects Alexander Dennis' values.

Bonus if you have

• A time served apprenticeship in Upholstery, Carpet Fitting, or Floor Covering (including lino laying)
• Experience working within a manufacturing or vehicle build environment
