Job Description
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional DO & CO quality on time at Heathrow Airport with maximum efficiency, in accordance with customer requirements, acting as a role model.
  • Control all daily activities such as pick-up times, flight coordinator log sheets, check sheets, and delivery notes, ensuring they are checked and updated.
  • Prepare adequate handovers to crew by submitting all paperwork (delivery notes), briefing on menu changes, SPML requests, etc. Control the truck after offloading, matching the loaded and offloaded carts.
  • Ensure final checking of correct packing by sealing trolleys prior to departure from the site.
  • Work closely with the Transport and Dispatch departments to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of goods to aircraft.
  • Represent DO & CO in daily communications with internal and external stakeholders, including working closely with aircraft crew to confirm all delivered goods are correct.
  • Ensure operations adhere to all SOPs, Critical Control Points, Health and Safety, Food Safety, and legal requirements.
  • Define systems of working to ensure product quality, resolve problems with solutions, and initiate continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide reports on productivity and other performance indicators to management.
  • Proactively manage team performance, offering development and succession planning opportunities.
Qualifications
  • A valid full UK driving license is essential, especially for operating manual vehicles.
  • Strong customer service skills, dedication to excellence, and a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Good time management and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Confidence working in a team environment.
  • Flexibility regarding work availability is essential, as operations run 7 days a week, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Right to work in the UK.
