A small but well-established and highly regarded high street firm in Rugeley is seeking an experienced Will Writer / Paralegal to join its friendly and supportive team on a part time basis (2-3 days per week).
This opportunity would suit an individual who enjoys client facing private client work within a professional yet personable environment and who is confident managing their own caseload independently.
The RoleYou will be responsible for managing a varied caseload including:
- Wills
- Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
- General private client matters
- Conducting client meetings and taking instructions
- Drafting and progressing files from instruction through to completion
- Liaising with clients in a professional and empathetic manner
- Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance procedures are followed
The firm is looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience managing their own caseload of Wills and LPAs
- Is capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Possesses strong client care and communication skills
- Is organised, efficient, and detail oriented
- Enjoys working as part of a small, close knit team
- Has experience within a solicitors' practice or professional will writing environment
A legal qualification would be advantageous but is not essential for candidates with relevant practical experience.
