Flexible Catering Assistant - Fast-Paced Service

Overview:
A Catering Assistant supports the preparation, delivery, and service of food and beverages in catering environments such as schools, hospitals, corporate offices, or events.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic food preparation (washing, chopping, assembling dishes)
  
• Serve meals and beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner
  
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, service areas, and dining spaces
  
• Follow food hygiene and health & safety regulations
  
• Set up and clear down service areas, including equipment and tables
  
• Support stock rotation and storage procedures
  
• Provide friendly customer service and respond to queries
  

Requirements:

• Previous catering or hospitality experience (desirable, not essential)
  
• Basic food hygiene knowledge (training can be provided)
  
• Good communication and teamwork skills
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  
• Flexible approach to working hours
