Location: Birmingham.

Pay: £13.45 per hour, £50 per shift. Pay is weekly, in arrears (1 week).

Casual/flexible work - hours to suit you. This role does not provide a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).

What you'll do

• Assist customers with daily living tasks to develop their independence, achieve their goals and outcomes documented in their support plans.
• Support vulnerable customers in a variety of services.
• Help customers with budgeting, cooking and attending appointments.
• Carry out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews.
• Help customers build independence and prepare for move on into the community.
• Provide support with medication, personal care, nutrition and daily living tasks whilst promoting independence.
• Work shifts on a rota basis as agreed.

You have

• Flexibility to work at short notice, choosing your next shift.
• Confidence to work in different services, locations or teams and collaborate with colleagues.
• Passion and experience in supporting others, ideally in a supported housing setting.
• Experience caring for others - professionally or personally.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS with barring list (covered by the employer).
• Valid vehicle licence and vehicle insured for business use. Business mileage will be reimbursed.
