PFC Flexible Circuits Limited, a division of OSI Electronics, is seeking a Flex Expeditor to support daily operations by monitoring order flow and priorities, coordinating between departments (e.g., production, warehouse, shipping/receiving, and customer service), and removing blockers to ensure on-time fulfillment. This individual will flex across tasks and areas as business needs change, maintaining accuracy, safety, and clear communication.

This individual will support first shift operations (7:30am to 4:00pm).


Responsibilities

  • Work with production to identify rush builds and transport them throughout the facility.
  • Operate PCB equipment as needed in order to eliminate delays in the factory.
  • Run production scheduling program (Paradigm) as necessary.
  • Maintain production status of rush assemblies.
  • Facilitate and expedite the flow of materials to and from various departments.
  • Act as liaison between production, engineering, materials, and customer services to provide daily updates on priority jobs, bottlenecks, and late orders.
  • Work with SMT to identify assembly requirements prior to parts arriving in the area.

  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma desired.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment in an expediting, production coordination, or planning role a plus.

  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, guests, vendors, and team members.

  • Familiarity with scheduling programs (Paradigm) is desired.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and Outlook) and report writing required.

  • Fundamental knowledge of electronic manufacturing and assembly process and equipment is desired.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work required.

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs., without assistance.

  • Familiarity with diagrams and basic manufacturing documentation (e.g. part numbers, BOMs, drawings) desired.

  • Must be a team player.

  • Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in the business language (English).
