Veterinary Surgeon - Part Time, 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Peterborough Up to £65,000 DOE (Pro Rata)

The Practice

The successful Veterinary Surgeon will be joining a welcoming and experienced team made up of:

  • 2 Veterinary Surgeons
  • 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs)
  • 1 Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA)
  • 2 Client Care Assistants (CCAs)

The practice is modern and well equipped, including:

  • Digital X ray
  • Ultrasound with Doppler and cardiology software
  • Endoscopy
  • Fully equipped dental suite with dental X ray

The practice has an established and loyal client base and consistently receives excellent client feedback.

The Role

This part time Veterinary Surgeon role offers a varied caseload, making it suitable for vets with interests in surgery, medicine, or a mix of both.

  • 3 days per week (ideally Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, but flexibility is available)
  • 8:30am - 6:30pm
  • 12 month fixed term contract

Peterborough's central location provides excellent transport links, including direct trains to London King's Cross in just one hour, and easy access to nearby parks and countryside.
