What will you be doing?

Working with senior members of the EMEA Insurance Solutions team to cover a variety of clients from insurers, reinsurers, asset managers and sponsors on topics related to insurance and insurance balance sheets. You will be involved in M&A, asset structuring and distribution, hedging solutions, ALM optimisation and reinsurance solutions. Your primary focus will be to support the Global Co Head of Insurance Solutions in developing the business in Europe, with particular emphasis on asset solutions and sponsor related dialogue.

What we're looking for

• Relevant experience working with or for a UK or European insurer, with a particular focus on ALM topics.
• Some fundamental knowledge of European insurance regulation, with a proven ability to learn complex topics quickly.
• Proven ability to multitask and work with different clients across different products and situations in a fast paced environment.
• Highly team oriented, commercially driven and eager to learn.
• Strong problem solving skills, able to navigate and simplify complex processes.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Self starter with entrepreneurial spirit, experienced in in depth research or development on new topics.
• A core interest in financial markets.
