At Petrogas E&P Netherlands B.V., we are looking for a Fixed Equipment Engineer to join our Operations team. In this role, you will take ownership of inspections, maintenance strategies, and technical solutions for all fixed equipment across our offshore assets helping us ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations in a highly regulated and fast-paced industry.

Your Role as Fixed Equipment Engineer

• Coordinate all fixed equipment engineering activities, from design to datasheets
• Act as technical authority for maintenance and inspection strategies on fixed equipment (including helidecks and lifting gear)
• Deliver and optimize ITPM (Inspection, Testing & Preventive Maintenance) programs
• Support brownfield projects and advise on fixed equipment aspects in greenfield projects
• Approve and implement process modifications (MOC) to ensure safe and compliant installations
• Define and safeguard equipment performance standards to meet legislation and company policies
• Liaise with vendors, prepare work packs, and monitor execution on site
• Maintain accurate data in CMMS and SharePoint for maintenance activities
• Forecast annual budget needs based on maintenance plans and inspection cycles
• Stay up-to-date on legislation and industry standards and share insights across teams

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in Oil & Gas
• Excellent knowledge of fixed equipment and related inspection methods
• Strong planning, coordination, and analytical skills
• Experience with CMMS systems and structured documentation
• Professional proficiency in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
• Strong team player with hands-on mentality
• Proactive communicator with a practical and problem-solving mindset
