Are you an enthusiastic fitness professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding health and fitness services? We are seeking a highly motivated Fitness Coordinator to lead and support our fitness operations across East Riding Leisure Hornsea and East Riding Leisure South Holderness.

This exciting opportunity has arisen following the appointment of the current Fitness Coordinator to another role so will require working very closely with our curent coordinator.

About the Role

As Fitness Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and effective delivery of health and fitness services across both sites. You will provide day-to-day operational leadership, oversee fitness staff, maintain high standards of customer service, and support the achievement of business objectives.

The role carries responsibility for significant service areas with annual income budgets across both sites.

Working closely with centre management teams, you will be responsible for maintaining service quality, supporting staff development, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements, and driving participation and income generation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for the fitness teams across both sites.
• Supervise and support fitness instructors and casual staff.
• Ensure the safe operation of fitness facilities and activities.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor performance against income and participation targets.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and continuously improve the customer experience.
• Support staff training, development, and performance management.
• Assist with programme development, fitness promotions, and member retention initiatives.
• Ensure facilities are maintained to high operational and presentation standards.
