Fitness Attendant (Seasonal Part-time)

A deep understanding of the practical skills required to deliver exceptional fitness experiences across our indoor and outdoor facilities.

Grasping opportunities to acquire new skills, you are given ample opportunity to create memorable moments for our members and visiting guests at their 'home from home' making sure each visit is unique.

Discover the role

You ensure of the opening and closing of the fitness and wellness areas and provide informed, thoughtful guidance on exercise, wellbeing and equipment usage throughout our gym, studio and riverside outdoor facilities. Building a rapport with our guests in creating a supportive, motivating and approachable environment and deliver seamless and engaging fitness experiences. Delivery and aftercare.

Conduct personalised fitness inductions ensuring safe usage of equipment. Lead and support inspiring group fitness classes, workshops and wellness focused activities for members, guests and team members.

Design effective, tailored fitness programmes aligned with individual goals and abilities. Assist with fitness challenges, wellbeing events and Discovery style programming that elevate the wellness experience.

You maintain impeccable hygiene and cleanliness throughout all fitness areas including gym floors, studios and outdoor training spaces. Reception areas and changing facilities and ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Coordinating with the Housekeeping Attendants to arrange the appropriate delivery and collection times of laundry, and rubbish.

Uphold our exceptional standards while demonstrating passion and flare in the pursuit of service excellence. We respect people, places, and culture and as an Ambassador of Taymouth Castle - spokesperson, advocate, and supporter. Actively involved in the day to day operation through observance, collaborating proactively with team members across our wide range of facilities. Contribute at departmental and the wider business meetings where necessary.

Based within the castle or at various locations throughout the estate, including Glen Lyon and Moness. Although much of your time will be spent indoors, some time may be spent outdoors. This role can involve long periods of standing, walking and bending.

Discover you

Qualified to Level 2 Fitness Instructor, with a genuine interest in fitness and at least one years' experience in a similar role. Previous customer service experience preferably within a five star or luxury environment. Highly motivated and physically capable of meeting the demands of the job. Those can include a variety of outdoor activities.

Deliver refined, personalised, anticipatory service with a vision for quality and excellence. Attention to detail with a warm, casual style letting your genuine personality shine through. Calm, confident and discreet, taking huge pride in your presentation. Exemplary time management and problem solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure to juggle competing priorities with minimum supervision. Adapt accordingly to suit the profile of the business. Ability to adjust working days and hours of work to meet business needs, as and when required and during emergencies or busy seasons.

Full UK driving license - You may be required to travel between locations. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products.
