Fire and security alarms and aov engineer

Overview

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fire and Security Alarms and AOV Engineer based in London. The engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, and servicing of fire alarm, access control, cctv systems, and smoke control systems, and other associated life safety systems. Daily tasks will include troubleshooting, system testing, repair work, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations. The role also involves coordinating with clients to ensure their systems are functioning optimally and in accordance with regulatory standards. In return we offer a competitive salary and a very generous call out rate, also this role is available on a full employment or self employed bases.

Responsibilities

Maintain and service fire alarm, access control, CCTV systems, smoke control systems, and other life safety systems. Perform troubleshooting, system testing, repairs, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Coordinate with clients to ensure systems function optimally and meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Skills in Fire Prevention, Fire Protection, and Fire Safety
• Experience with Life Safety and Fire Suppression Systems
• Strong understanding of fire alarm systems and associated interfaces
• Technical proficiency in smoke control and ventilation systems
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and manage on-site tasks
• Relevant certifications in fire and life safety systems
• Good communication skills and client service orientation.
