Job Description

Finishing Supervisor - County Cork

D.O.E: €50k - €60k

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Finishing Supervisor to join their team on a pharmaceutical project in Cork. The successful candidate will join a fast-paced project environment, coordinate subcontractors and ensuring all finishing works are delivered safely, on time, and in line with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise all finishing and fit out trades on pharmaceutical construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards
  • Oversee internal finishing works including drylining, ceilings, flooring, painting, joinery, cleanroom finishes, and final fit out activities
  • Manage subcontractors and monitor daily progress to ensure compliance with project specifications, GMP standards, and health & safety requirements
  • Conduct snagging inspections, manage defect resolution, and drive timely close out of finishing works
  • Liaise with Site Management, Project Teams, Design Teams, and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain programme milestones
  • Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and quality inspections throughout the finishing phase
  • Support project handover activities, including final inspections and client walkthroughs
Requirements / Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience in a Finishing Supervisor or similar site supervision role within construction projects
  • Previous experience on pharmaceutical, cleanroom, industrial, commercial, or high specification projects preferred
  • Trade background or relevant construction qualification with strong knowledge of finishing trades and fit out processes
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project schedules
  • Strong understanding of quality control, health & safety regulations, and site compliance requirements
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and coordination skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple subcontractors and meet tight deadlines
