As Finishing Foreman, you will oversee and coordinate finishing works on a major construction project in County Clare. You will work closely with the Site Manager, subcontractors and project teams to ensure all finishing activities are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Main responsibilities include:- Supervising and coordinating all finishing activities on site.
- Managing finishing teams and coordinating subcontractors to meet project deadlines.
- Ensuring works are completed to the required quality standards and project specifications.
- Monitoring progress and planning upcoming finishing works in line with the construction programme.
- Inspecting completed works and identifying any defects or outstanding items.
- Coordinating snagging, punch-list and remedial works through to completion.
- Working closely with the Site Manager and wider project team to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Ensuring all works are carried out in line with health and safety requirements.
- Maintaining high standards of organisation, cleanliness and presentation throughout the project.
- Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman or in a similar supervisory construction role.
- Strong knowledge of finishing activities and construction processes.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing finishing teams.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality and presentation.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting project deadlines.
- A strong commitment to health and safety standards.
- Salary of €55,000-€70,000, depending on experience.
