Finishing Foreman

A leading Tier 1 Contractor is seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman for a major project in Galway. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team delivering large-scale mixed-use, award-winning construction project.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all finishing works to ensure high-quality project delivery
• Coordinate subcontractors and finishing trades on site
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance across all finishing activities
• Monitor programme progress and support short-term planning
• Carry out snagging, quality inspections, and ensure defect-free handover
• Maintain site records, reporting, and daily progress updates
• Liaise with the Site Manager, Project Manager, and wider project team
• Ensure materials, workmanship, and finishes meet specification standards
• Support site logistics and coordination of finishing sequences

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in a Finishing Foreman or similar role
• Strong background working with a main contractor in Ireland or the UK
• Experience on large-scale building projects (€10m+)
• Excellent eye for detail and strong quality focus
• Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and tight programmes
