Job Description

Our client is looking for a senior financial reporting expert to join the Finance Accounting & Reporting department. The scope covers production, control, and analysis of external and internal financial reports for both solo and consolidated entities, under IFRS and/or Belgian GAAP. This also includes liquidity and solvency reporting.



Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Participate in the production of regulatory reports such as COREP Liquidity, ESG, and FINREP.
  • Analyse existing reporting processes to identify and propose improvements.
  • Work with large datasets while maintaining a high-level understanding of the full reporting structure.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across various regulatory reports.
  • Establish connections and linkages between different reporting frameworks, including COREP Solvency, COREP Liquidity, Pillar 3, and FINREP.
  • Maintain awareness of interdependencies between reporting streams within the department.



Profile

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in financial reporting, accounting control, or consolidation.
  • Strong knowledge of bank accounting and regulatory reporting (e.g. COREP, FINREP).
  • Experience with IFRS and/or Belgian GAAP.
  • Master's degree in economics or similar.
  • Proficient in Excel and Access; knowledge of banking tools is a plus.
  • Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
  • Accurate, analytical, and comfortable working with large datasets.
  • Autonomous, reliable, and able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
