Financial Reporting Manager

Overview

Are you fully qualified and experienced with French GAAP?

Our client is a FTSE listed manufacturing business based in London. They typically supply industries such as construction, wholesale & healthcare and are looking to grow their team to look after their French entity.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate French ledgers and local GAAP compliance, including conversions from IFRS/US GAAP for statutory reporting
• Support French tax and regulatory compliance, including CIT, VAT, payroll, and local provisions
• Provide timely data for audits, working closely with internal and external auditors
• Drive process improvements and support finance projects and internal controls
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and assist with ad-hoc financial reporting needs

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA full qualification
• Fluent French - written and verbal
• Experience and knowledge of French GAAP, French tax system and French VAT/Tax regulations
• Experience in a complex financial firm, managing stakeholders
