Job PurposeThe role offers an opportunity to join the highly talented Tokio Marine HCC International Financial Planning & Analysis team and contribute to our business's performance. The successful candidate will partner with the business, building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, and take responsibility for the Property, Treaty & A&H and J Business sub-segment.
Key Responsibilities- Front Office Business Partnering: Engage with stakeholders, understand and communicate financial drivers, support underwriting management, and represent finance at committee meetings.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct analysis of business drivers, produce internal commentary, and review financial results of sub-segments.
- Annual Planning and Forecasting: Manage budget activities, support planning, review inputs, and contribute to forecasting processes.
- Finance Reserving: Review IBNR numbers, liaise with actuaries, review reserving reports, and support the IBNR Committee.
- Other Activities: Mentor staff, support projects, and promote continuous process improvement.
Essential: Minimum 5 years in insurance or related industry, advanced Excel skills, strong analytical and communication skills, detail-oriented, problem-solving skills, leadership ability, and commitment to development.
Desirable: Qualified Accountant, PowerBI experience.
