As a Financial Controller for Group Functions, you will become an integral member of a dynamic Finance and Governance function, serving as the Finance Business Partner of choice, delivering responsibly and sustainably for the benefit of all stakeholders and supporting strategic growth.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day, you will act as a Finance Business Partner to the Group Function Directors, covering Growth, Performance, Finance & Corporate Affairs.

  • Line manage 3 financial modellers supporting business development across the Group; indirect line management of 5 accountants supporting reporting across all Group functions.
  • Lead all financial reporting and planning (operating costs, recoveries, investments) for these enabling functions within the UK, ensuring compliance with group strategy, policy and procedures.
Essential Experience
  • Commercially astute: assess, challenge and contribute to investment decisions and key financial judgments on behalf of the Group.
  • Strategic thinker: think long-term and beyond immediate area of responsibility, requiring sector awareness, critical analysis, integration of information and ability to develop action-oriented plans.
  • Exceptional business partnering background.
Essential Qualifications
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
  • Experience working in complex matrix organisations across multiple jurisdictions/time zones.

This role is 37 hours per week based at Farnborough head office with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week.
