Job Description

Role: Financial Controller

Location: Dublin

Job Type: Permanent - Full time

Your new role includes:
  • Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
  • Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to guide business strategy
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets
  • Ensure compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with auditors to facilitate audit processes and resolve any financial discrepancies
  • Supervise and develop the finance team to enhance performance and efficiency
Experience you need:
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in financial management or accounting roles
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse complex financial data and provide actionable insights
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
  • Experience managing audits and working with external auditors
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
