Financial Controller

A well established Mid-Ulster business based in the Magherafelt area is seeking a newFinancial Controllerdue to a retirement within the team. The position will take ownership of its finance function and support senior leadership with strategic and operational decision making.

This is a hands on role that will report into Director level.

• £55k - £65k base salary

• Full responsibility for the day to day finance function
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Cashflow management and working capital control
• Oversight of payroll, AP/AR, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Liaison with external auditors, accountants, and other advisors
• Supporting senior management with financial insight and analysis
• Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Identifying and implementing process improvements and efficiencies

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience managing a team
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Confident communicator, able to work closely with non finance stakeholders
