Qualifying questions

The opportunity

This is a rare chance to step into a founding finance role during a major carve-out and transformation. You'll be the Regional Financial Controller for the UK and Australia/New Zealand, helping to build finance processes and governance from the ground up. It's a high-impact position where you'll partner with senior stakeholders, deliver critical statutory and compliance requirements, and play a key role in shaping the future finance landscape.

What you'll do
  • Lead statutory, tax, treasury, and compliance activities across UK & ANZ.
  • Deliver transformation initiatives, including ERP/system migration and process design.
  • Identify gaps, design solutions, and drive implementation across finance processes.
  • Manage external audit, statutory reporting, and internal controls.
  • Partner with business leaders to ensure strong governance and commercial awareness.
What you'll bring
  • Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) - essential.
  • Big Four training, with experience within the last 5 years.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years' industry experience post-Big Four.
  • Background in statutory reporting, tax, treasury, and compliance.
  • FMCG or fast-paced multinational exposure preferred.
  • Experience with carve-outs, private equity, or transformation desirable.
  • A proactive, resilient, hands-on style - you thrive in complex, matrix organisations, take ownership, and deliver results.
  • Comfortable working in a hectic and ambiguous environment.
  • Existing right to work in the UK.
  • Availability to start before the end of this year.
