Neuberger Berman is seeking a Financial Controller responsible for overseeing the financial operations of various corporate entities within the firm.

Responsibilities:
  1. Full financial ownership of designated NB corporate entities.
  2. Governance & Control: Oversight of operational accounting entries, ownership of local entries, analytical review of movements, and providing insights.
  3. Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
  4. Managing statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
  5. Cash flow and capital management.
  6. Coordination of interim and year-end audits.
  7. Review and improvement of processes, procedures, and systems, including documentation and implementation.
Operational Accounting:
  1. Reconciliation and review of key balance sheet accounts.
  2. Management of accruals.
Business Support:
  1. Preparation of board and management reports.
  2. Onboarding new products and collaboration with fund teams and operations.
Requirements:
  • Assist with process improvements and team initiatives.
  • Qualified accountant, preferably with 2+ years post-qualification experience.
  • Confident in engaging with multiple internal clients.
  • Highly organized, adherent to deadlines, and proactive in issue escalation.
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently while engaging with the team.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
