The Local Market Controllership team will take responsibility and ownership for all controllership matters, led by the market Controller, who will be a key member of the local market finance team. The team is expected to be both industry knowledge experts and finance professionals, liaising across various stakeholders. There will be collaboration with the Controlling Operations team in Bangalore, which will provide high-level service by recording transactions across finance processes, acting as the 'customer' of the Controlling Operations. Although the offshore team will not report directly to the Local Market, there will be oversight from the Local Market Controller and the controllership team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
The OTC Coordinator plays a crucial role as part of the OTC team reporting to the Market Controller. They will support the OTC Lead in managing the full end-to-end Order to Cash process, from Contract origination, working closely with Sales and Strategy teams. The OTC Coordinator will be instrumental in achieving cash targets by building strong relationships with Customers to ensure timely invoice collection.
Key Skills- Thorough understanding of the end-to-end Order to Cash cycle, including invoicing, collections, and cash applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including active listening to alert customers of non-payment, determine reasons, and explain payment options simply
- Diplomacy and tact in discussing sensitive matters
- Negotiation skills to persuade customers to meet financial commitments
- Conflict resolution skills for managing non-paying customers
- Bookkeeping and numeracy skills for managing outstanding payments and installments
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar)
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a busy environment
- Knowledge of financial regulations and practices
- Significant experience in an Accounts Receivable role, including billing, cash allocation, and chasing payments
