Financial Accountant

Your new companyYou will be working for a long-established international financial services group with a strong presence across Asia, Europe, and North America. The organisation offers a comprehensive range of retail, corporate, and wholesale banking services, supported by extensive networks in major financial centres worldwide. They are looking at bringing on an experienced Financial Accountant to support all reporting functions, including management accounting.

Your new roleThe candidate will support the preparation and submission of management, head office and UK regulatory reports, oversee monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and contribute to efficiency and control improvements. They will assist with budgeting and forecasting, tax computations, data and disclosure packs for regulators, and help assess the accounting impact of new products, while also supporting system upgrades and process streamlining initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
• Strong financial control experience, including GL adjustments and balance sheet reconciliations
• Background in management and financial reporting, as well as planning and budgeting
• Experience within banking or the wider financial services sector
• Solid technical accounting knowledge
