Financial Accountant

An established and growing insurance group managing circa $500m of claims is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join its London-based finance team.

This is a broad, hands-on role with responsibility across financial and regulatory reporting in a multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing quarterly management accounts

• Supporting statutory accounts (IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP)

• Regulatory reporting and returns

• Bank and investment reconciliations

• Liaising with auditors and actuaries

• Supporting budgeting and cash flow forecasting

Experience Required:

• Previous reporting expedience at an insurance company

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)

• Strong technical accounting knowledge

• Proactive, organised and detail-oriented
