Financial Accountant

On behalf of our client, a major player in the outdoor residential lighting sector, part of a solid European Group, we are looking for a

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

The role is based in the company's office in Rome - Fiumicino Area

Main Tasks:

• Daily accounting operations - Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management
• Credit Management: New Customer / Credit Coverage / Bankruptcy Management
• Daily bank encoding
• Monthly Closing: booking of invoice Receivables and Credit Notes for Rebates (not Returns)
• Accruals and closing - Prepare month-end and year-end accruals, keeping financial records accurate and up to date.
• Reconciliations and accuracy - Conduct General Ledger reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy across the Group.
• Establishment of deposit invoices / credit notes according to contracts / monitoring

Who you are:

• High school graduate, a university degree in economics will be considered a plus
• Relevant experience as accountant with at least 3 years in finance or corporate services experience in a similar role
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles ensuring accurate reporting and analysis.
• Strong proficiency in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Google Sheets or Excel)
• Languages - Fluent in Italian and English, ensuring effective communication within an international team.
