Financial Accountant - Ballymount, Dublin

We are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join a growing finance team based in Ballymount, Dublin. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will suit a qualified accountant who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be involved across a broad range of finance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month end close and preparation of management accounts, including P&L and Balance Sheet reporting
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany accounts
• Manage bank reconciliations, payroll preparation support, and cashflow monitoring
• Reconcile and analyse key costs across business areas
• Support budget preparation and forecasting activities
• Assist with statutory accounts preparation and external audit processes
• Prepare monthly KPI and financial reports for senior management
• Respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests
• Contribute to process improvements and finance projects
• Support and guide junior members of the finance team where required

The Person

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 2-3 years' post qualified experience in a similar role
• Strong technical accounting and reconciliation skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Commercially aware with strong analytical skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• Proactive approach with strong attention to detail
